Message posted on behalf of Thalassa Owners Forum
To All Thalassa Owners
As hand over becomes imminent we would like to draw your attention to a forum that was created for owners to communicate.
We have 170 members currently and the forum has kept them informed during the highs and lows of the construction. We hope it will be a focal point going forward and as such we would like to call on all owners to join.
The web address is www.thalassaowners.com – there you will find many topics of interest from travel tips, fitting out your apartment, who owns which unit, photos and more. We hope you will join as soon as possible.
A group of these forum members/owners are currently discussing the formation of an “Owners Committee” to act as a central reference point for communication by the owners to the Management Company and or the Developers. We hope to have details of the Management Company soon but in advance we would like to open up the opportunity to join the Committee to all purchasers.
If you are interested please register on the forum and make your feelings known in the forum heading “Committee”.

Thalassa Additional items
We have now installed the majority of additional items in to the apartments. To allow us to move on from this and continue the initial snagging by our engineers we are unable to take any more orders for electrical items, shower screens etc. If you do wish to buy these at a later date we will assist you after possession.

Turtle Bay Village Representatives
Dear Owners,
We have recently been the recipient of a very nasty email that has left us with no option other than to cease all contact with Julie Hobley and Charlie Bell and their company ‘TBV Services’.
Whilst we appreciate that a number of Turtle Bay Owners currently use this company and the inconvenience this change may cause, we trust they will support us in this decision following the derogatory contents of this e-mail not only towards us but the owners committee.
We will of course be happy to deal with owners directly or any other appointed representative.
Whilst we have good grounds for legal action we don’t consider this to be in the best interests of anyone and would prefer to put this matter behind us.
We thank you for your continued support in making Turtle Bay Village the ‘Best Sea Front Development’.

Karpasia Village Esentepe
Dear Customers,
It is with great pleasure that we now have the individual title deeds ready for transfer into owners names for our Karpasia Village site.
We are extremely proud to have completed the formalities making this the second one of our sites with individual deeds, Savyon Village being the first.
With regards to Turtle Bay Village, we are continuing to work towards the issuing of deeds for this site and will inform owners when they are available.
If you own a property on the Karpasia Village site you will be hearing from us shortly with instructions on how to proceed with transferring the deeds into your name.

"It is with great pleasure that we are now able to announce the following for the ongoing construction of Thalassa Beach Resort, Bafra.
We have now appointed Eurocoast to continue the construction of the development. We expect them to take a few weeks in assembling their workforce and commence construction at the beginning of August."

Contrary to some misguided remarks, the Kensington Development Group are fully solvent, all of our projects are funded by the Company and will continue to be so until finished.
THALASSA BEACH RESORT
Be assured that we are actively seeking tenders from other companies and will continue the construction of the apartments as soon as possible and with the least delay.
PROJECTS
Sales and Construction at Savyon Village, Catalkoy, Karpasia-By-The-Sea and Turtle Bay Village, Esentepe continue to flourish with four Escape Type Villas at Savyon due for completion by early June. An alternative Company has been appointed at Turtle Bay Village to handle any snagging issues and we are receiving positive feedback from customers regarding the speed and efficiency of the service provided. All other works on these sites are on schedule.

We have, and always will, keep our clients fully informed of all progress and we can assure you that, once we have a suitable company in place at Thalassa, we will be able to publish further timescales for completion.

WORLD’S SAILORS STOP OFF IN GIRNE
About 230 sailors from 26 countries arrived in Girne yesterday morning when most of the 71 boats in the 21st Eastern Mediterranean Yacht Rally (Emyr) dropped anchor in the commercial harbour.
The rally flotilla completed an overnight cruise from Alanya in Turkey, in the latest stage of the Emyr, which got under way from Istanbul on 23rd April and is due to finish in Israel on Monday 28th June after 1,825 nautical miles.
Unlike previous years, the yachts are not using Girne old harbour – where they had been a yearly tourist attraction since 1990 – due to lack of space.
During their stay in Girne, the crews will attend a welcome party, hosted by President Dervis Eroglu, in Girne Castle, and there will be a now traditional fancy dress Pirates Party in the Dome Hotel tomorrow night.
